Little Explorers is for children who are ages 3-5 years old.
Preschool is for children who are 30 months - 5 years old. (Your child must be 36 months before December 31)
In our Early Learning Programs, we will help your child grow and foster new skills by teaching the following:
Independence
For many children this is their first experience away from their main caregivers.
Your child will learn to follow routines work on their own and develop self-help skills. Since each child is unique, they will develop at their own pace.
Socialization
Social interaction fosters a sense of self, an important developmental milestones that influences one perception of the world. This helps facilitate other life long skills, such as confidence, communication, and problem solving skills.
Communication
As children learn through their interactions with peers, they will develop the ability to express there needs, wants and feelings affectively. This will then allow them to learn to interact positively with their peers.
School Age Care is for children who are in Kindergarten to Grade 5.
Our School Age Care programs are designed so your child can relax and play in a safe, supervised atmosphere. Our staff will provide daily activities and also allow your children the choice of activities that interest them.
We are open for full day care during school closures (non-instructional days), one week over Christmas break and 2 weeks at Spring Break. We are closed all stat holidays, one week over Christmas break and all of July and August.
